I have a Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design from the University of Delaware and have been in the apparel industry for 35 years, mainly as a pattern maker, designer, fit specialist and CAD consultant. I've always loved making my own clothes and jewelry to match (and if I could make shoes,...I'd be doing that, too!). The wonderful thing about jewelry is it's one-size-fits-all and so it allows me to offer it to everyone without dealing with a size range. Being ambidextrous and using both sides of my brain way too much, I get bored with being too creative (my creativity freezes) or too technical, so creating a website (to satisfy my techy side) for my jewelry was a perfect balance. I've lived in Delaware all my life (my choice), which has been quite challenging being in the field I'm in. But, it's given me the chance to travel and draw inspiration from many different places and people. I still have my consulting practice - for the past 25 years - but during the slow spells, I work on creating whatever sparks my interest. My wonderful husband, Roger and new "child" Willow (a rescued Maine Coon/Siberian mix cat who thinks she's a monkey) keep me very happy and grounded!
